On December 4, 2025, Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of the University N.O. Dulatbekov took part in the panel session of the international conference: "Law and Order – the basis of stability and progress." The event was organized by the Prosecutor General's Office and the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies with the support of international partners.
Nurlan Orynbasarovich made a presentation on the role of science and education in the digital transformation of the country. In his speech, he stressed that digitalization is not only a technological upgrade, but also requires the formation of new standards of legal regulation, transparency of algorithms, data protection, and adaptation of judicial and law enforcement systems to modern digital processes.
A digital platform was presented as part of the report "LegalExpert.kz " and the importance of state support for research, the removal of administrative barriers and the creation of a comfortable scientific ecosystem was emphasized.


On December 3, 2025, the Chairman of the Board and Rector of KarNIU named after Academician E.A. Buketov presented the LegalExpert.kz digital platform to the faculty at a reporting meeting.

On November 20, 2025, E.K. Mabiev, Development Director of Itbydesign LLP, took part in the International Forum "The Future of Forensic Expertise in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" at the L.N. The event was held within the framework of the program-targeted financing project "Innovative approaches to ensuring accessibility of justice to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan using artificial intelligence tools", implemented with the support of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The discussion was attended by leading scientists from Kazakhstan, the USA, Poland and Russia, as well as representatives of the Karaganda Regional Bar Association, researchers, as well as ambassadors of the digital platform. LegalExpert.kz .

On July 1, 2025, a pilot project on a digital platform was launched as part of the project. https://legalexpert.kz . This digital platform was developed as a result of a collaboration of scientists and highly qualified IT specialists who joined forces to implement a common idea.

On December 28, 2024, within the framework of the BR24992826 project "Innovative approaches to ensuring accessibility of justice to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan using artificial intelligence tools", the research group held a field meeting at the site of the Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies" (Astana Hub). During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov and the Astana Hub, represented by General Director M.D. Madiev. Also, the chief researcher is L.K. Kussainova. She presented the research group with a progress report for 2024. Following the meeting, the tasks for 2025 and 2026 were outlined.

1. Discussion of proposals from each member of the research group on the topic: "User profiles and ideal responses for each user group. Gradation of system users from those with no experience or knowledge to professionals in the legal field. A graded list of users (up to 5 levels) with described profiles."
2. Proposed logo sketches from Evgeniy Petrovich, Amantai Abdolla, and Askhat were reviewed. It was decided that each member of the research group would prepare their ideas and suggestions for the next meeting.

2. Methodology for assessing citizens' legal literacy and their willingness to participate in court proceedings.
3. A conceptual model of a digital system for preparing citizens for court proceedings.
4. Analysis of the potential impact of digital training tools on the effectiveness of the judicial system.

As part of the project BR24992826 “Innovative approaches to ensuring accessibility of justice to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, using artificial intelligence tools,” the working group carried out a business trip to Dubai to study foreign experience in the field of integration of artificial intelligence into the legal sphere, with an emphasis on justice in the period from 06.12. 2024 until 12.12.2024 Amity University, GBS University were visited, seminars were attended with the participation of PhD Mohit Vija, Pavan Bhatia.
Working sessions were held to discuss the implementation of foreign countries' experience in the field of artificial intelligence. The trajectories of scientific research were adjusted, tasks for the near future were outlined.

В конференц-зале Карагандинского исследовательского университета им. Е.А. Букетова состоялось заседание членов исследовательской группы грантового проекта BR24992826 «Инновационные подходы обеспечения доступности правосудия населению Республики Казахстан, с использованием инструментов искусственного интеллекта».
Ректор Букетов университета Н.О. Дулатбеков отметил, что членами исследовательской группы проделана большая работа, в результате которой заявка на участие в конкурсе на программно-целевое финансирование по научным, научно-техническим программам на 2024-2026 годы набрала самый высокий балл и прошла все отборочные туры.
В ходе заседания участники рассмотрели ключевые аспекты проекта и ответственность за невыполнение запланированных задач. Также была обозначена важность междисциплинарного подхода, который позволит объединить усилия специалистов в области права, экономики, информатики и других наук.
Кроме того, на встрече были намечены планы на 2024-2026 годы. В их числе разработка цифровой платформы для населения, упрощающей получение юридических услуг, написание монографии и научных статей в высокорейтинговые журналы, получение патента, международные дайджесты с участием зарубежных ученых и т.д.
Члены исследовательской группы выразили уверенность в том, что применение инструментов искусственного интеллекта откроет новые горизонты для правосудия в Казахстане, сделав его более доступным и эффективным для граждан Республики Казахстан.
